Our house is under contract - Chapter 2

If you have checked out my bucket list then you know one of the items on it is to sell our house!! Well it just went under contract!!!! After only ONE WEEK being listed with a Realtor!!!! Now on to the fun things - or the not so fun things.

CHAPTER 2 = THE DREADED HOME INSPECTION

In Chapter 1 I explained how much I hate to wait for things. Well I do but I also equally hate "not knowing" things! We didn't have a home inspection done when we moved in this house - we probably should have but we were so excited and anxious to move in that we opted out of it. The people that are buying our house have decided to have one done. This is going to be done on Saturday!!!!

We have had a lot of improvements done: brand new (top to bottom) kitchen; new windows throughout; new siding; new front and back door; we upgraded our wiring and plumbing; new garage door; new sidewalk, new front and back decks -

So that had me wondering - if you have had a home inspection done, what are the things that have come up?

My parents just sold their house and the thing they found was a furnace issue that was solved cheaply and easily. Sometimes I think it depends on who inspects it.

I'm a new GFC follower.

Blessings on your weekend. I hope you enjoy it and find a fun surprise tucked in.

I know with me, one of the first thing I would do is get all my plumbing repairs done. After that I would make sure there were no leaks in the wall.
