We completed 2 more items on our 2011 Bucket List!!!! YAY for us! We are down to the wire on a few items...winter is almost over and we can't really go snowtubing or snowboarding once the snow is gone - SO WE GOTTA GET MOVING!!!
#16 = This was one of JJ's items that she wanted to do (an easy one to accomplish)! She wanted to go swimming. We love to swim - the kids go to swim lessons in the summer and my parents have a pond that we also swim in quite frequently. We recently had the chance to go and visit an "old" (and by old...I mean we went to high school together) friend in Lake Placid! We stayed at the LOVELY Comfort Inn Lake Placid! We had a pool-side room. It was great - there were sliding glass doors to go out to the indoor pool (and hot tub). After spending half the day and some of the night outside in the snow and cold it was nice to put on bath suits and swim and relax in the hot tub. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of this but you get the idea!!
#21 = Go Dog Sledding!! This was something that I have always wanted to do or see. Eian and I had watched an episode of Sarah Palins Alaska and she was dog sledding - he thought it was pretty cool and so did I! It was slightly expensive 9I thought) $8 per child and it was only about a 5 minute ride. But the kids all had smiles on their faces, so it was worth it! What made the experience even better is that it was SNOWING LIKE CRAZY - as you can see from the pictures below! The neat thing is, the dogs LOVE to do this! They get so excited when they know that they are going to be pulling!!!! If you would like to find out more information, here is a link: http://www.lake-placid-area-guide.com/dog-sled-rides.html
If you have made it this far can you please take one more second and vote for us on Picket Fences? Thank you so much!!!!

IntelliCeuticals Harmonic Baby Massage Oil Review/Giveaway
I was recently given the opportunity to review IntelliCeuticals Harmonic Baby Massage Oil. IntelliCeuticals is part of IntelliGender... a fun pre-birth experience for moms who can’t wait to know! Discover whether you’re having a baby boy or girl weeks before the sonogram can tell you.
I was contacted by IntelliCeuticals and immediately told them I was interested! My product arrived safe and sound within a few days. Brooklinn and I were super excited to try out the Massage Oil. It came to us at the right time - she was starting to get dry spots on her legs and tummy! The first thing I did after opening the bottle of oil was to smell it. It smelled fresh and natural! I was also happy that it didn't smell anything like lavender - so many baby products smell like lavender these days that I have grown tired of it! I couldn't wait to try it out. The fragrance (which left me just as calm and relaxed as her)- coupled with me massaging it into her skin, had a very relaxing and soothing effect on Brooklinn and it made nap time that much easier. The dry patches on her body immediately disappeared and even left me wanting to try it on my dry patches of skin!
Massaging your baby has long been recognized as a wonderful, gentle way to bond during the early months of life. The feelings of touch shared between mom and her baby create a harmonic atmosphere that can also lead to longer sleep periods during the night – a nice additional benefit to the experience!
WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?
Harmonic Baby Aromatic Massage Oil is a 100% natural formula which contains the following carefully selected essential aromatherapy oils in therapeutic dosage:
They also have great products for Mom!
You can connect with IntelliCeuticals on Facebook, Twitter and also on their Blog. You can also find out about their other great products on their web-site.
One of my lucky readers is going to win:
1 IntelliCeuticals Harmonic Baby Massage Oil
1 IntelliCeuticals New Mom Rebalancing Drops
A VALUE OF $41.45!!
Thanks and GOOD LUCK!!!!
