Two card challenge entries....

My goal is to make a card a day and use it for challenges. I know that the busy time of year is coming up - at least for us. So I figured since I have two already made up, I should just go ahead and post them both.

Card #1 is a snowman card made just for someones special day :) It was made with a Sassy Cheryl Digi Stamp and colored using Spectrum Noir markers.

I'm entering it into the following challenges:

If anyone is ever interested in purchase or just looking at any of my handmade cards you may do so at the following places:

Card #2 - I found a cute little girl on (once again) Sassy Cheryl's online divi site. I couldn't pass her up because she was just too darn cute! The inspiration for this card came from a sketch challenge and the fact that my oldest daughter has a birthday coming up very soon!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

I hoping to create more in the next few days BUT wrapping all of these gifts and spending time with my family and friends comes first.

How sweet it is....card challenges

I can't believe that I never knew about card challenges before last week. It truly helps out so much when I get "stuck"! Here is the card for this posts card challenges:

I used Spectrum Noir markers (TB1, TB2, TB3, PP1, PP3, PP5, FS2, PL1, OR1, BGR1, CT3, EB7, GB10, GB8, TN2). I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

More Card Challenge Entries....

I admit it....entering into card challenges is fun AND challenging! I just couldn't resist the urge to enter a few more I found while browsing today.

I would like to enter this card:

It is a 6x6 inch greeting card made with a digit stamp from Sassy Cheryl's Digi Stamps and using my Spectrum Noir markers ( TB3, TB2, TB1, TB6, DR3, EB2 and TN2). Stamped with Let it Snow at the bottom and using scrap pieces of cardstock/paper from my stock.

Have a good day!!

My very first card challenge entry

I should probably start by apologizing for ZERO blog posts in almost a year! Time has a way of getting away from me and it seems like I'm always so busy! Since my last blog post I started a new hobby - I've started making handmade greeting cards. I am selling them on Etsy (http://www.hallscards.etsy.com) and also on Facebook (www.facebook.com/hallscards).

I decided to add a new element to my card creations = coloring!! It seems simple enough and if you ask my husband what it is he would compare it with what my kids do. But it's more that that, right? For the price of the markers I sure hope so :)

Anyway, I sometimes run into problems when deciding what my next card should be. One way to help me is by entering into various "card challenges". I didn't even know they existed! So here it is....my first entry into a card challenge!

This challenge is a "sketch challenge" from Designed To Color. I was given this sketch as the inspiration for the finished card:

I am also entering this card into the "Fellin' the Love" challenge at Sassy Cheryl's Digi Stamps Challenge Blog.

Here is my finished card: I made it using some basic card stock I had laying around and used the following Spectrum Noir markers: TN2, EB2, PP3 and PP1. The Digi Stamp is from "Sassy Cheryl's Digi's"
