I should probably start by apologizing for ZERO blog posts in almost a year! Time has a way of getting away from me and it seems like I'm always so busy! Since my last blog post I started a new hobby - I've started making handmade greeting cards. I am selling them on Etsy (
http://www.hallscards.etsy.com) and also on Facebook (
www.facebook.com/hallscards).
I decided to add a new element to my card creations = coloring!! It seems simple enough and if you ask my husband what it is he would compare it with what my kids do. But it's more that that, right? For the price of the markers I sure hope so :)
Anyway, I sometimes run into problems when deciding what my next card should be. One way to help me is by entering into various "card challenges". I didn't even know they existed! So here it is....my first entry into a card challenge!
This challenge is a "sketch challenge" from
Designed To Color. I was given this sketch as the inspiration for the finished card:
I am also entering this card into the "Fellin' the Love" challenge at
Sassy Cheryl's Digi Stamps Challenge Blog.
Here is my finished card: I made it using some basic card stock I had laying around and used the following
Spectrum Noir markers: TN2, EB2, PP3 and PP1. The Digi Stamp is from "
Sassy Cheryl's Digi's"
Thanks for stopping by.......
