Reminds me of a quote I read once: cleaning your house while your kids are still growing is like shoveling the sidewalk before it stops snowing!
Of course I shouldn't take this quote literal. I waited for it to stop snowing before shoveling a few years ago! It was so deep that I almost couldn't do it and it took much, much longer than it should have! I guess I need to look for that "happy medium" - somewhere between my house being spotless and my house resembling a pig sty!
